My doors
My thirty-first entry to Norms Thursday Doors. Home doors. The doors of my house.
Not much to tell about these doors. They are not old, not historic, not very beautiful. But. They are mine. And something you dont’t see but what makes this picture very special for me is the fact that is the first picture taken with my new camera! Today I bought a brand new Nikon D750 🙂 With lenses etc. etc. So I like this picture very much!

I think that door looks very inviting! Congratulations on your new camera 😀

Your patio doors are lovely! You’re a Nikon Guy! Yeah!! I’m sure you’re already aware I’m a Nikon Gal. I’ve heard and read a lot of great reviews for the D750. I hope you have many, many years of great shooting with it. My first digital full frame camera was the Nikon D700. I loved that camera…until I bought the Nikon Df. It’s my favorite camera now. My D700 would be retired if my D300s auto-focus motor didn’t quit working. Sigh.
What lenses did you get? I’m always looking at gear and have become such a gear head! It’s the only gear I care about. 🙂

Thanks! I almost bought the Df myself … But i use the system for my work so the D750 it is. I have the 35/1.8, the 85/1.4, the 24/1.8 and the 24-105 art zoomlens from Sigma. Oh almost forgotten: the new sb5000 flashlight 🙂

I’ve wanted that 35mm f/1.8 for so long! I sold my old AF-D 35mm f/2 planning to upgrade it but, alas I haven’t. I bought the new 20mm f/1.8g and 200-500mm lenses which ate up all my mad money = lens funds.
I have the 85mm f/1.4 D lens and it’s amazing! You have a lovely kit. I have no doubt you’ll be happy for a long time!
The 24-105 lens sounds wonderful. I have the af-d Nikon 28-105 micro and have wished it was 24-105 for years! It’s a great lens, but not wide enough for me.
How do you like the sb5000? I have the sb600 and sb910. I use them with Su800 wireless controller which I love.

Why wouldn’t the Df work for your work? What can’t it do that the D750 can? I’m thinking sync speed or shutter speed.
I have cursed Nikon more than once for not giving this camera 1/8000 shutter speed. I’ve been able to deal with the flash sync speed without issues. Is it one of these or something else that I’m not thinking of?
