Tree of Peace
“I might cry tomorrow, but I may be smiling the day after. That’s enough. That’s the way life is. If I don’t lose hope – tomorrow will come. Tomorrow will come if we don’t lose hope… I learned that from Nana. But rainy days still make my cheeks wet with tears, even now. It was pouring, on that rainy day.” ― Ai Yazawa
The tree of peace in The Hague symbolizes hope. The hope of a future without war, violence or mistreatment.
This warms my heart!

Great Quote… Great Photo. .. in fact, I love that photo, not only for what it represents, but also for the technique… How did you do that?

Hi, thanks for the compliment! The original photo is in focus, edge-to-edge. I have ‘developed’ this picture in Photoshop with settings for an famous analog filmtype: Fuij Velvia. To give it the blurring effect I applied a Bokesh filter.
