The most beautiful time of the year. For me, my family, friends and relatives it certainly is. But as sparkling as our glasses are, the future for millions of people is not so bright.

MH17 – M370 – Ferguson – Ukraine – Crimea -MS Sewol – Gaza – James Foley – The children of Pesjawar – Ebola – Syria – All those nameless people that became victim of violence, mistreatment, accidents, hunger and disease.
In 2014 the Dutch Constitution is 200 years old. The oldest Constitution in the World. I hope and pray that in this century all people can live under a Constitution like ours that respects all people, regardless of sex or religion.
