It was 1979. I met my girl at a high school party. She was just 17 and well ahead of her class. A classic beauty. The woman I wanted to grow old with. We started dating and stayed together ever since. Sure, we did have our tough moments. ‘I ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders’ someone said.
Endurance. Another word for the will to stay in love.
After living together for more than 32 years we decided to get married. Because after all that happened we still love each other. Endurance.
