Silhouette – Near Dover
Just before we entered Dover in the UK we were overhauled by the Emma Maersk . To give you an idea of the differences in size: our yacht is a 50m2 Windfall class sailing boat of 12,50 mtrs long, build in 1939. The Emma Maerks is 376 metres long and more than 50 meters wide. As always these encounters are breathtaking. We give them a wide berth but not so much that we cannot enjoy the spectaculair view of these magnificent vessels!
